Hello!
We are overwhelmed by the response to our call for scores, thank you to those who have been in touch! Just to clarify, we are looking for a flute, viola & harp trio only- not solo/duo pieces for the instrumentation (or any other!) Thanks!!! EchoChamberEnsemble

A guide for writing for the harp Hello
So sorry to all who are waiting for the delay in posting my guide to composing for the harp, I promise to get this up and running by the end of next week as I am busy down in London playing in the proms at the moment... (here comes the shameless plug...listen to BBC radio 3 on Sunday night 7.30- Capriccio Espagnol & the Firebird and Monday night late night prom, Coptic light by Feldman!!) Any questions in the meantime, please do not hesitate to ask and thanks so much for your interest! Sharron (Harpist) Echo Chamber Ensemble would like to call for new scores to be submitted (max 5mins). 1 or 2 of the pieces will be selected to be premiered at our upcoming Sound Festival concert in Inverurie.
There is no age limit, anyone can send a piece so get scribbling and get your music played. Just send score and parts to: Ruth Morley, 2 Prince Albert Road, Glasgow G12 9JX before 1st October 2013. [email protected] for more information and advice on how to write for the harp. [more to come!] This concert will also include music for flute viola and harp by Bax, Mathias, Ibert, Persichetti and Debussy.
